TribalHub Announces 2nd Annual Tribal Cybersecurity Summit

April 21, 2022 –  TribalHub will host the 2nd Annual Tribal Cybersecurity Summit on June 16, 2022. This important all-day event will be held virtually, for a nationwide audience. The summit agenda is specifically tailored to leadership executives and technology professionals working in tribal gaming, tribal government or tribal health facilities, as they face unique cybersecurity challenges and seek ways to improve their security posture. The theme of this year’s event is Navigating the Turbulent Cybersecurity Waters. Attendees of this event will have the opportunity to choose from 10 different sessions throughout the day as well as attend a virtual tradeshow.

“In effort to create an agenda that is BY our audience and not just FOR it, we assembled an all-star advisory committee to help define the topics for this year’s event agenda. This has been one of the best groups I’ve had the chance to work with over the years and it’s been a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear from diverse backgrounds, titles, size tribes, enterprise, government, health- you name it! The diversity of this group is a great snapshot of who will be in attendance.”  Shannon Bouschor, TribalHub Director of Operations comments.

Topics include areas such as; Cyber Insurance, Data Privacy and Work from Home, Information Security Strategy, Data Classification/Data Governance, Talking Cyber, Darkweb and more! Virtual events give the opportunity to come to one session or ALL and for those working at a tribal organization or enterprise- it’s FREE!

The Advisory Committee members for this event include:

Stephen Bailey, VP of IT, Cache Creek Casino Resort

Brent Hutfless, Executive Director, IT Security, Wind Creek Hospitality

Matt Moon, CIO, Four Winds Casino

Adam Morrison, CIO, Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians

Marlon Ortiz, Director of Information Security, FIGR Tribal Gaming Commission

Richard Sneed, Principal Chief, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians

Reese Weber, Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer, Indian Health Service, California Area Office

Glenn Wilson, Chief Information Security Officer, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians

Those working in tribal enterprises, tribal governments and tribal health with a focus on technology or leadership should look to connect with one another by attending this event, and others hosted by TribalHub,  in 2022. There will be a great deal of information and learning shared both from industry experts, as well as peer-to-peer connections. Which is really what TribalHub has been,  and continues to be all about. TribalHub will be sharing opportunities for sponsors, speakers and attendees for all of their events in the coming weeks. For more information, follow TribalHub on LinkedIn or visit tribalhub.com
