Leadership Readiness & Sustainability
Being in any leadership role for a tribe or tribal enterprise takes visionary planning, a strategic outlook and an innovative mindset, all while building for future generations and not losing oneself solely to the immediate issue-at-hand. The best plans often fail because team members don’t properly understand the expectations of their role, or how their role fits into the larger strategy. Technology decisions, for example, are critical to both short and long-term success of the tribal enterprise, requiring leaders to possess a multi-dimensional perspective and a capacity to communicate both strategic and tactical needs throughout the organization. This session will accelerate this alignment between your business objectives and people objectives: ensuring your leaders are capable of connecting with, and engaging, their teams to ensure business success. Specifically, the session will teach leaders how to think about and develop an approach to creating employee readiness, respective of these business needs, providing concrete steps to evaluating and developing both individual and team performance. |

Know Your Region
Another favorite session of all of our regional events in 2023 has been this one, where attendees can see data on their region- who is using what, what size and structure IT departments do others have, how to find someone else who is building a new X or upgrading to Y. This eye-opening session will share some info like this and more specific to your region AND tribes across the U.S. Don't leave early- this one is worth sticking around for! |
