AI is creating new opportunities across Tribal government and enterprise, but it also introduces a fundamental governance question: what happens to Tribal data when it reaches an AI platform, model, or third-party service?

Part 1 focused on gaining visibility and control over how data moves across the environment. Part 2 takes that foundation into AI, exploring how Tribal organizations can translate sovereignty and governance principles into practical data controls before information reaches an AI model or vendor.
From classification and redaction to routing, retention, and auditability, we’ll discuss how architecture can help organizations determine what data can be used, where it can go, and what should remain under Tribal control, allowing organizations to pursue AI opportunities without giving up authority over their data.
