About Adam
Adam T. Morrison currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. Adam is a positive, candid, and professional leader. Adam has spent the last decade building high functioning, dedicated, IT teams that can make a direct impact in the needs of the organizations they support.
Adam has a passion for technology of all types and disciplines. He has spent his career deep in the technology of cyber security, wide area networks, VoIP phone systems, local area networks, switches, routers, server hardware, scripting, storage area networking, server administration, database administration, call centers, cloud applications, email, collaboration platforms, PCI compliance, disaster recovery, system backups and more.
Adam is a native of Edinburg, Mississippi in Leake County and a graduate of Edinburg High School. He earned his Associate Degree at East Central Community College and went on to study at the Else School of Business at Millsaps College. Adam has earned nationally recognized certifications from CompTIA and Cisco. In his career, Adam has led multiple teams of IT professionals to obtain over 30+ technical certifications and grow the skillsets of those individuals to furthering the missions of the organizations they served.
Prior to taking on the role of CIO for MBCI, Adam’s served as Director of IT Engineering and Information Security Officer for Pearl River Resort and Casino. Adam led the team responsible for all network, server, and cyber security infrastructure for their three casinos and resort properties. During his time with Pearl River Resort, he and his team were a critical part of the deployment of the first 100% tribally owned and operated sportsbook in the United States.
Adam has performed as a technical leader in various industries such as, field marketing organizations, service providers, government contracting, manufacturing, and B2C software.
When not working, Adam spends time with his wife, Lacey, two daughters, Isabelle and Catherine and son, Addison.
