Andrea Scott

Andrea Scott, MBA, BS (Retired USPHS CDR) currently serves as the Deputy Director/Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Office of Information Technology for the Indian Health Service (IHS). Andrea transitioned into this role 9 years ago.  She has an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Her civilian and PHS Commissioned Officer roles are a combined service of 34 years and were positions of clinical, administrative and technical responsibilities and leadership. She is an enrolled member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation and a descendant of the Navajo and Hopi Nations. Andrea’s current hobbies and interests are traveling, camping, running and cycling.
