About Tim
Chairman Timothy N. Rhodd was born in Falls City, Nebraska, and is a long-time resident of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska Reservation in White Cloud, Kansas. Mr. Rhodd was elected as Tribal Chairman in 2010 and is currently serving his fourth consecutive term. Chariman Rhodd attended Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas, where he studied Business and Agriscience. His passion is regenerative agriculture with a focus on soil health and food sovereignty. Chairman Rhodd’s recent successes include: revamping the tribal government structure, implementing new government policies and efficiency measures, expanding tribal enterprises, and building a tribal economy, all while keeping the Tribe’s community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Chairman Rhodd envisions a healthy future for the Tribe, focusing on educational opportunities, a healthy and diverse economic strategy for future generations, striving for tribal self-sufficiency and continued sovereignty, and re-establishing trade routes with Indigenous peoples worldwide.
