Don Assalone

Don Assalone currently serves as the Director of Global Cybersecurity for Mohegan, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in Information Security to the role. Throughout his distinguished career, Don has amassed a profound understanding of cybersecurity across various sectors, including E-commerce, healthcare, financial services, retail, and gaming.
At Mohegan, Don leads the Global Cybersecurity team and oversees cybersecurity across all Mohegan Domestic and International properties. Don and his team spearhead efforts in identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. They also collaborate with each Mohegan property to enhance and standardize cybersecurity processes. His responsibilities encompass aligning the Mohegan Enterprise with a Security and Governance Framework, deploying comprehensive training and awareness programs for end users, documenting and testing incident response protocols, monitoring compliance, and refining existing cybersecurity tools. Beyond his professional achievements, Don and his family are dedicated to community service, regularly volunteering at their local Food Bank. Avid travelers, they enjoy frequent cruises, continuously exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories together.
