Gabriel Cook

My name is Gabriel Cook, and I currently serve as the IT Director for the Suquamish Tribe. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where a deep respect for community and innovation has shaped both my personal and professional journey. With a lifelong passion for technology, I have built my career in the tech industry, specializing in startup environments and strategic consulting.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with fast-growing companies and dynamic teams, where I honed my skills in IT operations, infrastructure development, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. My background includes leading multi-million-dollar projects, launching new technology initiatives, and designing systems that scale with organizational growth. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to think creatively, act decisively, and lead with integrity.

Since joining the Suquamish Tribe, I’ve focused on modernizing our technology ecosystem, advancing digital equity, and ensuring that our IT strategies align with tribal values and sovereignty while building a solid tech foundation that will support future generations. It’s a role I approach with both humility and a deep sense of purpose—bridging innovation and tradition to serve the present and future needs of our people.
