Mike Scutt is the Head of Operations and Technology at BlueVoyant, where he plays a pivotal role in optimizing MDR (Managed Detection and Response) Operations and Technology services. He is dedicated to helping clients identify and combat advanced cyber threats, including sophisticated malware and critical security posture enhancements. With extensive experience in handling breaches involving nation-state actors and leading hundreds of incident response engagements, Mike guides expert teams in using threat intelligence, forensics, and malware analysis to detect and neutralize threat actors.

In his current role, Mike focuses on driving service delivery strategy and fostering technology innovation at BlueVoyant. He ensures that the company's Managed Services are seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge threat intelligence, automation, and expert incident responders, significantly enhancing the security posture of their clients. By overseeing the alignment of operations and technology, Mike plays a crucial role in delivering effective and forward-thinking cybersecurity solutions.

Before joining BlueVoyant, Mike was the Director of Security Research at CrowdStrike, where he managed detection strategies for the Falcon EDR platform. Prior to CrowdStrike, Mike was a founding member of Rapid7's Incident Response and Managed Services businesses and served as the Lead Incident Handler for Mandiant Managed Defense. His extensive background in Incident Response, Digital Forensics, and Malware Analysis has been instrumental in shaping industry-leading cybersecurity practices.
