About Nicole
What brought me to Tribal-ISAC was the opportunity to build resilience and reduce risk with security-minded professionals. I particularly enjoy the participatory nature of the membership and the organization’s commitment to collective action. Prior to working at Tribal-ISAC, I was concurrently the Assistant Director of Engagement for the Institute for Coastal Adaptation and Resilience and an Associate Professor of Geography in the Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University. Shriners Hospital for Children had a transformational impact on my early life that resonates in my ongoing work with nonprofits and vulnerable populations in hazardous settings. Outside of the office, I enjoy reconnecting with the environment and visiting family.
