Robby Jakovljevic
About Robby
Robby leads IT for the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, with nearly two decades of technology leadership spanning food logistics, ski resort operations, casino resorts, and tribal government and enterprise.
His philosophy: IT should work as an organizational nervous system; sensing, connecting, and enabling, while defending what must be defended. IT that protects an organization but doesn't help it move is a wall with nothing behind it.
His current focus spans three areas: cybersecurity as an extension of sovereignty, because the data tribes protect is inseparable from self-determination; enterprise AI, and how data-sensitive organizations adopt it without surrendering governance, auditability, and data residency; and IT leadership, moving technologists from the server room to the boardroom.
He serves on the TribalHub Cybersecurity Summit Advisory Board and is active across TribalHub and Tribal-ISAC. He also writes the Kyloka Nation trilogy, techno-thrillers about indigenous sovereignty, digital rights, and genetic privacy.
