About Steve
Steve Neely has been a Casino General Manager for the better part of a decade. Following his tenure as COO at Casino Del Sol, where he oversaw the company’s operational and marketing divisions, Steve joined Rolling Hills Casino in April of 2018 and was only the second General Manager in the company’s nearly 17-year history. Steve focused on reworking the company’s staffing structure, marketing programs, upgrading the gaming product and customer experience, trimming COGS, investing capital dollars into new systems and areas of the property that had been ignored, and rebuilding the company’s executive team. Following his six-year run at Rolling Hills Casino Steve took over the three legendary properties in Primm, Nevada, located on the border of California and Nevada. In addition to more than 2,000 hotel rooms, 2500 slot machines and a 6.000 seat amphitheater, the complex included the largest fuel operation in the State of Nevada and the top performing Starbucks in the California and Nevada market. Currently Steve is working as a consultant helping Tribal properties with their marketing programs and operational challenges. Steve was also the Vice President of Marketing at Pechanga Casino Resort in Temecula, California, Rivers Casino in Chicago, the CMO for Acres 4.0, as well as the senior marketing person and executive team member for Isleta Resort and Sandia Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Corporate Director of Marketing for Cherokee Nation, and the Director of Marketing for the Isle of Capri Casino Blackhawk, Colorado. Steve has an MBA from Arizona State University and is also an Army Veteran with service in Operation Desert Storm.
