About Aaron
Aaron Wheeler serves as the Training and Development Coordinator for the Suquamish Tribe on the Port Madison Reservation. With a career spanning two decades in information technology, including 10 years as the Tribe’s IT Director. Aaron recently returned to Suquamish following a governor-appointed role within Washington State government.
His expertise lies at the intersection of business strategy and IT, with a core focus on design implementation and leadership development. Now part of the Human Resources team, Aaron is channeling his passion for teaching into the creation of a centralized training and mentorship program. He is dedicated to equipping staff with the tools they need to thrive while cultivating the next generation of tribal government leaders.
Aaron holds a B.S. in IT and Administrative Management from Central Washington University and an Executive MBA from Washington State University. He is also a certified Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor.
