Bill Barkovic

 Bill Barkovic is the Director of Modern Workplace at Microsoft, working directly with the Native American Tribal Entities for the last 8 years and is regarded as an expert in Modern Workplace Solutions including security, compliance., data governance to include Tribal Sovereignty solutions in the cloud.  Prior to being a Modern Workplace Specialist, Bill was a Sr Consultant in the Microsoft Consulting Services division, where he architected and deployed infrastructure solutions such as Skype for Business, MBAM & Exchange Server. Prior to joining Microsoft, Bill was an Engineer at CALIBRE Systems, Inc a Federal Contractor. He was responsible for building their first WAN and COOP/DR site, in addition to rearchitecting many other aspects of their IT infrastructure, such as their Fiber & Cable plant, SAN & NAS storage, Network Security & Identity Automation. Bill has over 25 years of IT experience across many segments of business and government applications to include compliance and understanding how to achieve Data Sovereignty within the Cloud safely.
